SAN GIMIGNANO

On the outskirts of San Gimignano, on high, rugged, stony terrain, gentle Vernaccia vineyards produce excellent grapes.

PODERE CELLOLE

(CELLOLE)

Podere Cellori is our highest vineyard, a crest of vines overlooking the towers of San Gimignano just a few steps away. Its altitude, the constant airflow, and the ancient marine layers beneath the surface give the grapes a character found nowhere else on the estate.

TERRA

VERNACCIA RISERVA
DI SAN GIMIGNANO

From Podere Cellori comes Mareterra, our most distinctive Vernaccia Riserva. Here, on ancient and wind-kissed soils, the vines root deeply in mineral-rich earth that gives the wine structure, depth, and remarkable aromatic finesse. Mareterra is the purest expression of this podere: a wine that unites tradition, character, and a natural vocation for longevity.

THE PIEVE DI CELLOLE

The Pieve of Cellole, documented since the 12th century, is one of the most symbolic landmarks of our landscape. For over eight hundred years, its Romanesque stones have stood among these hills, where nature, history, and spirituality converge, shaping the identity of the territory and the vineyards that surround it.

Among these rolling hills, the vine finds a rare equilibrium. The southern exposure, the constant winds rising from the Val d’Elsa, and soils rich in marine fossils create ideal conditions for slow, balanced ripening.
For centuries, the Pieve has watched over the work in these vineyards like an ancient guardian, a symbol of continuity, patience, and deep respect for the land. It is within this silent dialogue between geology, climate, and human tradition that the wines of Podere Cellori take shape.

Podere Cellole

Cellori is a place where iconic landscape and history meet, and where our most distinctive wine reserve quietly and slowly takes shape over decades.
