TASTING NOTES
"…Intense golden yellow with amber tones. The glass reveals great density and concentration. On the nose, warm notes of raisins, dried fig, walnut, honey, followed by date, dried apricot, candied fruit and citrus peel. In the mouth, the correspondence with the aromas is remarkable: the sweetness is balanced by the long aging in wood, while the gentle oxidative notes bind its rich aromatic profile…"
NOTE DEGUSTATIVE
Un naso pieno e potente, note floreali, origano fresco, timo accompagnano accenni di frutta tropicale. In bocca è vibrante, fresco e intenso con sensazioni di erbe medicinali e note tostate.

"...Curato follows the canons of the most ancient Tuscan tradition. Its goodness is equal to the slowness of the production process that uses the mother yeasts handed down from generation to generation. In the pre-bottling blending phase, very small quantities of product with different sensory characteristics due to the quality of the caratello wood, the quality of the grapes and the fermentation process are skillfully mixed in order to obtain a well-balanced product with a powerful sensory identity at the same time..."

Harvesting: exclusively manual in small boxes
Layer and texture of the soil: hilly at about 200/300 m above sea level, medium-textured soil of Pliocene origin
Vinification and Ageing: soft pressing of the dried grapes, insertion of the must flower in the "caratelli" and slow fermentation.

Pairings and Serving Notes

Curato 2015 is an excellent accompaniment to pastry preparations, especially to traditional Tuscan Cantucci. These dry cookies are prepared with whole almonds and are literally soaked in Vin Santo. The "Cantucci and Vin Santo" are a great way to end dinner or enjoy a moment of relaxation. It is also ideal with typical Tuscan desserts such as Ricciarelli di Siena, Buccellato (a cake with raisins and aniseed) or the traditional castagnaccio. Out of the box, Curato can also be an excellent aperitif or be paired with blue cheeses such as sweet gorgonzola. Finally, Curato is also excellent as a meditation wine giving moments of great pleasure.

CURATO

THE LABEL

The light capsule and the soft background color of the label are designed to beautifully showcase the unique hue of Curato, which is clearly visible through the transparent glass bottle. This thoughtful choice highlights the wine’s distinct character right from the first glance, inviting the drinker to appreciate its visual appeal.

At the top of the label, a hot gold symbol of the moon commands attention, symbolizing mystery and elegance. For those who look more closely, the moon’s phases are subtly repeated at each of the four corners of the label, adding a layer of depth and symbolism that reflects the wine’s complex nature and its connection to natural cycles.

Beneath the name of the wine, accompanied by its geographical designation, lies a carefully crafted box of symbols. These are intricately arranged and framed by a fine gold thread, drawing the eye to the lower part where a reversed inscription in the style of Leonardo da Vinci is delicately displayed. This artistic detail speaks to the winery’s deep respect for history, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

( THE LABEL)

The colors of the symbols differ from those on the Arturo label, adopting warmer tones that echo the rich, chromatic complexity of the Curato wine itself. At the very base of the label, the winery’s name is elegantly printed in gold, reinforcing the premium quality and heritage that this wine represents.
