Senarum 1776 is crafted from carefully hand-selected grapes, embodying the elegance and authenticity of its terroir.

The vineyards of Senarum 1776 lie on gentle hills at 200–250 meters above sea level, where medium-textured Pliocene soils provide structure and complexity. After destemming, fermentation with skin maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks to enhance aroma and color. Aging continues in wooden barrels within the historic cellar, where the wine develops depth and harmony, expressing the true character of Chianti Colli Senesi.

SENARUM

THE LABEL

A label that celebrates history, heritage, and a deep bond with the land.

At its heart is an excerpt from an original 1776 contract, in which an ancestor of our family purchased a small farm in Certaldo from the military-hospital order of S. Stefano. This transfer of land was made possible by the reforms of Grand Duke Leopoldo of Tuscany, who promoted the sale of underutilized estates to local farmers.

To honor this legacy, the wine’s name evolves from Chianti Colli Senesi Senarum to Senarum 1776, marking the historical discovery. Two red eight-pointed crosses on the label echo the emblem of the ancient order and frame the commemorative date.

( THE LABEL)

Crowning the label in molten gold is the chalice one of our nine company symbols representing our enduring winemaking tradition and the deep roots of our oenological culture.

Guided by Nature, Shaped by Generations

Each of our bottles is born from a simple yet powerful vision: to honor the land and its laws. Our vineyards are the result of a balance between centuries-old tradition and attentive presence, where every leaf, every cluster, every drop of rain matters. Our work is to protect this daily miracle, turning it into wine and oil that tell our story.

For us, organic farming is not just a technical choice, but a way of life: to observe, respect, and support nature. For generations, we’ve walked these rows with the same eyes as those who came before, and with the responsibility of those who will follow. The result is a delicate balance between nature and knowledge, where the virtue of the earth becomes the heart of our work.
